Thank you so very much for taking care of us during our four days in Latvia. We will never forget the warm welcome and hospitality that the members of TIARA showed us. We would like to express our sincere appreciation that we were able to visit during the 100th\u00a0Latvian Restoration of Independence year as representatives of the NHK Tokyo Children\u2019s Chorus.<\/p>\n

We visited Latvia ten years ago. At that time, we had a chance to sing together with your Choir and had always hoped to have another chance to do that. We were also deeply impressed by the Riga Girls\u2019 Choir and its worldwide professional activities as well as its sophistication, artistry and history. Our wish came true in the form of participation in joint rehearsals and the picnic. This cultural exchange will remain an unmatchable memory for all members of NHK. We really enjoyed singing in the solemn atmosphere of Riga Cathedral. We had never experienced such acoustics and feasted on the beautiful choral music.<\/p>\n

We appreciate that NHK achieved success in the performance with TIARA in the concert. We all sincerely hope to have another opportunity to perform with TIARA in Latvia in the near future.<\/p>\n
